Who Is Paved To Pines?

What Kind Of conversions do we work on?

A custom van conversion or school bus conversion can mean many things.

School Bus & Van Conversion FAQ

Why would I buy an old bus/cargo van and convert it into an rv?

It doesn't have to be an old school bus or van, we convert new vans and buses into campervans as well.

Some of our most common conversions are:
Ford Transit Conversions
Mercedes Sprinter Conversions
Dodge Promaster Conversions
Thomas School Bus Conversions
Blue Bird International Bus Conversions

The last thing we want to do is build you your dream camper and have the vehicle give you nothing but troubles. Always make sure to have the vehicle inspected before purchasing.

If you need help finding one, ask us!

Where do i find a vehicle?

New vehicles are always easier to find! Sprinter vans, Ford Transits, and Promasters can all be ordered from our local dealerships as we have great partnerships with them!

If you're looking for a used vehicle, Kijiji/Craigslist, auto-trader, dealerships and other fleet companies are all great options.

We can help you find the vehicle/find one for you!

We have developed great partnerships to provide well maintained new and used vans and buses!

Do you do the mechanical work on old school buses and cargo vans?

Our shop does NOT touch the mechanical work on the vehicle, that includes suspension lifts etc.

We contract out the mechanical work to organizations that we know and trust to do the work properly so you are 100% satisfied with the conversion/mechanical work that needs to be done while we focus on the interior of your van conversion or skoolie camper.

I don't live in canada… Can I still have a build done by you?

Absolutely, we work with clients from all over the world.

In fact, USA residents prefer to convert in Canada due to the conversion rate. With the US Dollar being so strong in comparison, the conversion is much cheaper.

We can also have your conversion van or skoolie shipped/brought to our shop to make the full process as convenient for you as possible.

What's the average build time for a van conversion/school bus conversion?

The average build takes 2-4 months, depending on the complexity, as every build is custom made to your satisfaction.

We start with 2D layouts, move to 3D renderings, then start the building process once approved!

These layouts seem complex, can you plan it all for me?

We can literally handle everything for you from the sourcing of the vehicle, to the planning of the layouts, to the delivery of the vehicle!

You can also be as hands on as you want from bringing us the conversion van/skoolie, layout and design ideas, or letting us handle everything for you!

What Kind of cool stuff can i have in my conversion?

The options are really unlimited from design options to additional luxuries.

  • Custom cabinetry and storage
  • RV Solar Power
  • Fully plumbed RV systems & showers
  • Awnings
  • Roof racks
  • Audio upgrade/entertainment systems
  • Bunk beds
